Terms of Use

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

moppet is a multi-caregiver baby-tracking app provided by Roebling Foundry LLC, a limited liability company registered in New York, United States ("moppet", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use moppet. Questions: privacy@mymoppet.com.

Your privacy is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Who may use moppet (adults only)

• moppet is for adults (18+) acting as caregivers to coordinate care for a child. It is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts.
• You may only add a child, household, or caregiver if you are authorized to do so and to share that information, for example if you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or you have the permission of someone who is.
• You are responsible for the accounts and access you create, and for keeping your login secure.

3. moppet is not medical advice

moppet is a logging and coordination tool, not a medical product. It is not:

• medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
• an emergency service or emergency monitoring system;
• medication, dosage, or feeding guidance; or
• a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional.

The reminders, predictions, summaries, and defaults moppet shows are conveniences based on the data you enter, not clinical recommendations. Always use your own judgment, and contact a healthcare professional for any medical question or concern. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Some information you log (for example temperature, medications, growth, health notes) concerns your child's health. moppet helps you record it. It does not interpret it or advise you on it.

4. Reminders, predictions, timers, and Live Activities can be wrong or late

moppet's reminders, predicted next-feed, diaper, and nap times, running timers, and lock-screen and Live Activity displays are best-effort and not guaranteed. They can be delayed, missed, stale, device-local, interrupted, duplicated, or incorrect, because of device settings, notification permissions, background limits, connectivity, time-zone changes, or the timing and accuracy of the data entered. Do not rely on moppet as your only reminder for anything that matters, such as feeding or medication. You remain responsible for reviewing entries and for the care decisions you make.

5. Shared households and caregivers

• A household's data is shared among all caregivers in that household. Anyone you invite can see and add entries for that household, and other caregivers can see entries you add, with your name attributed.
• Only invite people you trust. You are responsible for who you give access to.
• Removing a caregiver ends their access immediately. If you leave or are removed from a household, you lose access to that household's data.
• A household that only you belong to is yours to delete. Households shared with others remain with the remaining caregivers.

6. Your data, export, and deletion

You can edit or delete entries, export your data (Settings, then Export, CSV), and delete your account (Settings, then Delete account) at any time. Deletion is permanent. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to shared households.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use moppet for any unlawful, abusive, harassing, or fraudulent purpose;
• enter data about a person without authorization, or impersonate anyone;
• attempt to access other households' data, probe or break security, or disrupt the service;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the app except as permitted by law or Apple's EULA.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe puts other users or the service at risk.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you: store, sync, display it to your household's caregivers, and process it through the processors listed in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data or use it to build advertising profiles.

9. Subscriptions and payments

moppet offers an auto-renewable "full access" subscription, available as an annual or a monthly plan. One subscription covers your whole household, every caregiver and every baby.

• Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, under Apple's standard auto-renewing subscription terms. The price, billing period, and what is included are shown at the point of purchase (prices vary by storefront and may change for new periods with notice).
• Auto-renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings, your Apple ID, then Subscriptions.
• Free trial: where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Trial length is shown at the point of purchase.
• Restore: you can restore an existing purchase on a new device (paywall or Settings, then Restore purchases).
• Refunds: because Apple handles billing, refunds are requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com), subject to Apple's policies. We do not separately process App Store refunds.
• What the subscription gates, and what it never touches. The subscription unlocks creating new entries (logging, timers, imports). Your existing data is never locked behind payment: reading your history, CSV export, account deletion, and caregiver management are free in every state, whether subscribed, lapsed, or never subscribed.
• If your subscription lapses, your household keeps full read access to everything already logged, plus export and deletion. Only creating new entries pauses until you resubscribe. Nothing you logged is ever deleted because a subscription ended.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, moppet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that reminders or predictions will be timely or correct (see sections 3 and 4). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Roebling Foundry LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss arising from reliance on reminders, predictions, or other app output, or from data entered by you or other caregivers in your household. Some jurisdictions (including parts of the EU, EEA, and US states) do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as moppet evolves and will change the "Last updated" date. For material changes we will tell you in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the change.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you keep the mandatory protections and the right to bring claims under the law of your country of residence. Nothing here removes those rights.
